"Psara island The bare rocky island of Psara - Ψαρά, the ancient Psyra (Mycenaean tombs found), lies 10 nm north-west of Chios. The chief place, also called Psara, lies on the south coast, below a medieval castle. To the north-east is the Monastery of the Dormition (Kimisis Theotokou). Now poor and depopulated, the island had a period of considerable prosperity in the 18th century, when the descendants of the Albanians who had settled on the island in the 16th and 17th century made it the third naval power in the Aegean, after Hydra and Spetses (Spetsai). The island's dilapidated old mansions and the stumps of windmills on the hills bear witness to this period, when Psara had a population of some 20000. Then, in a reprisal for the islander's stubborn resistance to the Turks, a Turkish force landed on the island and slaughtered the inhabitants. After Psara became part of the new kingdom of Greece in the 19th century it was resettled from Chios. The 422 inhabitants live by farming and seafaring. South-west of Psara is the smaller islet of Antipsara - Αντίψαρα." |

Witam nie chcialbym nikogo urazic, ale takie informacje z netu to sam moge znalezc. Chodzilo mi o info od kogos, kto tam plywal. Niemniej dziekuje i za to Zbych |

Witam w roku 2007 robiłem dokładnie taką trasę, czyli Skiathos- Kos. Łódka z Vernicosa, trasa one way. Byłem na Psarze i na Chios. Psara bardzo mi się podobała, mieszka tam ok 60 osób, ale super atmosfera. Jedna tawerna w porcie, właściciel był kiedyś marynarzem i odwiedzał kilkakrotnie Gdynię. Port dość duży, pusty - byliśmy tam w czerwcu, oprócz nas tylko jeden jacht. Kilka łodzi rybackich, statek Cost Guardu i to wszystko. Port głęboki, wygodny - zero wody i prądu. Rano właściciel tawerny ( zresztą po tym jak jedliśmy u niego kolację nasz friend) zaprowadził nas do piekarni (sami nigdy byśmy tam nie trafili). Na Chios stanęliśmy w głównym mieście Chios. Duży port, ale non stop pływające promy ( 24 godziny na dobę ) robiły duży rozkołys. Jachty stają w lewo po wejściu do portu, miejsca sporo, można było stanąć nawet a longside, ale przez fale robione przez promy niekoniecznie. Miasto Chios to dość duży ośrodek studencki a wzdłuż portu ciągnie się promenada po której przez całą dobę jeżdżą skutery i samochody z "muzą na full", dużo młodzieży. Ogólnie chałas straszny, ale doskonałe miejsce dla kogoś szukającego zabawy. W innych portach Chios nie byłem. Niestety nie mogę znaleźć żadnych fotek z tego rejsu. Piotr Marek |
