Ole Aga, prezes norweskiej Sail Training Association zginął na morzu w pobliżu Stavanger. Dostałem taki komunikat: OLE AGA LOST AT SEA It is with deep sadness that I have to tell you that Ole Aga, Chairman of Norwegian STA and Norway’s representative in our International Council, was lost at sea on Sunday night. He was sailing on a private yacht with friends, from Norway to the Shetland Islands, when he was washed overboard in very bad weather. He was wearing a life jacket and was tethered to the boat with a safety line. The crew managed to haul him alongside the boat. But, in their attempts to haul him on board, his life line became detached, his life jacket was lost … and he was swept away from the boat. A search was undertaken by the Norwegian authorities, but abandoned yesterday evening. His body has not been recovered. He leaves a widow, Eli, and two daughters – both in their late teens.
